Event Manager

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Job description:

It is the primary responsibility of the Event Manager to oversee the setup, execution and breakdown of the event. They will work directly with the staff to ensure the highest standards of service. When coordinating any of our events, the following guidelines should be complied with.

  • The sales/event planner will introduce you to the point of contact/couple.
  • Confirm agenda, order of evening with client or emcee.
  • Review all items in folder (notes, new handouts, estate rules etc.).
  • Read over menu and set a sample table setting for the staff to follow (how many forks, knives, spoons, plates and glasses per setting).
  • Check staff for proper uniform upon arrival.
  • Check floor plan to ensure correct number of seats at each table.
  • Set time parameters. Plan to have dining room completely set with all crates and debris clear one half hour before guest arrival
  • Manage and oversee stewards make sure breakdown area is set up and ready
  • Utilize stewards when they are set up and ready they can assist with room set up and in the kitchen
  • Review wrapping up and taking care of equipment when packing and loading truck back up at end of event

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:
  • 4 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evenings as needed
  • Evening shift
  • Weekends as needed
