Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Temporary Event Security professional, where your vigilance and proactive approach will ensure the safety and smooth operation of large-scale events. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment by monitoring crowds, managing access points, and responding swiftly to incidents. Your expertise in security protocols, conflict management, and emergency response will be vital in creating a safe experience for all attendees, staff, and vendors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your security skills in a fast-paced, lively setting while ensuring event success.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor event premises through CCTV surveillance systems to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
  • Control access points by verifying credentials and managing guest or vendor check-in procedures.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the event area to identify potential hazards or security vulnerabilities.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies with appropriate conflict management techniques and first aid if necessary.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during critical situations to ensure swift resolution.
  • Enforce event policies and safety regulations to prevent loss prevention issues and maintain order.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and security activities accurately in shift reports for review and follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; additional certifications such as CCTV operation or surveillance training are advantageous.
  • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and CCTV systems for effective monitoring.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and patrol continuously for extended periods during events.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and emergency responders effectively.
