Job Summary

As a Part-Time Administrative Assistant at PLS Logistics Services, you will play a key role in supporting our operations team and ensuring the smooth functioning of daily administrative tasks. You will be responsible for a variety of office-related duties, including organizing documents, scheduling meetings, data entry, and providing administrative support to the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support:
    Perform general office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Data Entry:
    Input and update data into company systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Document Management:
    Organize and file important documents, ensuring all records are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Schedule Management:
    Assist with scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for team members.
  • Communication:
    Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling inquiries and directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and assist with reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
  • Other Tasks:
    Provide general administrative support to the team as needed, including assisting with special projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment, is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
