Office Manager / Proposal Writer
to join our Public Sector team in Greenbelt, MD. This dual-role position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys meeting deadlines, and can develop clear, engaging, and results-driven proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Office Manager Duties:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and vendors.
  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
  • Manage office resources and coordinate supply orders.
  • Organize and schedule internal training seminars.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, memos, letters, emails, invoices, mail merges, and proposals.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings using Microsoft Outlook and Teams.
  • Maintain calendars and schedule appointments for staff.

Proposal Writer Duties:

  • Identify and qualify RFPs and RFQs.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate the production of proposals, presentations, and statements of qualification.
  • Draft, edit, and proofread proposal documents with attention to grammar, clarity, and formatting.
  • Collaborate with sub-consultants to gather and organize required information.
  • Coordinate proposal development meetings and timelines.
  • Maintain a database of marketing and proposal materials.
  • Assist with tracking and organizing conference bookings and logistics.

Qualifications:

  • Professional and approachable demeanor with a commitment to excellent service.
  • Strong command of spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Deltek is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Publisher and Project is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with RFP/RFQ processes, including proposal writing and coordination, is preferred.
  • Willingness to occasionally work flexible hours to support conferences, networking events, and proposal deadlines.
