Litigation Attorney
Our growing firm is seeking a highly qualified senior personal injury litigation attorney who is ambitious, aggressive, and proactive. The ideal candidate can handle a heavy volume of cases in litigation, work independently, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. To be considered, you should have extensive experience with motions practice in personal injury litigation, either on the defense or plaintiff's side of the table.
We're looking for an attorney who loves to litigate and is a fierce and compassionate advocate for clients. You must be unwilling to let a moment go by that could be used to push a case to resolution for the best and quickest possible result for clients. Reach out to us today if this opportunity sounds ideal for you.
Description
Our Litigation Attorneys at Fasig Brooks Law Offices are assigned a case when the pre-litigation process has been unsuccessful in securing the best resolution for clients. Litigation attorneys are expected to engage in motions practice and otherwise litigate cases in an aggressive, strategic, and efficient way to achieve the best result for the client in the quickest way possible.
Our attorneys are impactful, honest, and highly compassionate. The attorney-client relationship remains the highest priority throughout the litigation process. Consistent and regular communication between our attorneys and clients is required in order to develop critical legal strategies with clients to best advance their cases, and also to keep clients apprised of all critical developments on their cases. We love and value clients, and we want that to show in every relationship between a litigator and their client.
Does this philosophy of practice resonate with you? Do you have the experience to take a high-volume caseload and maintain relationships with clients while aggressively working their cases to secure maximum compensation? If so, we'd love to talk with you.
Compensation:
$150,000 Base + Bonuses
Responsibilities:
- Review cases transitioned from the pre-litigation team to assess legal viability.
- Develop a strategic litigation plan to maximize results for clients.
- Draft and file complaints, motions, and other pleadings.
- Prepare and respond to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
- Take and defend depositions of witnesses, clients, experts, and opposing parties.
- Work with highly skilled and qualified medical and financial experts to develop pertinent evidence.
- Draft, argue, and defend Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions in Limine, and Daubert Motions.
- Handle evidentiary hearings, pre-trial motions, and case management conferences.
- Represent clients in mediation and settlement conferences to reach favorable resolutions.
- Prepare for jury and bench trials, including trial briefs, witness prep, and exhibit organization.
- Present opening statements, conduct direct/cross of witnesses, prepare and deliver closing arguments, and otherwise advocate for clients in trial.
Qualifications:
To thrive as a Litigation Attorney at Fasig Brooks, candidates should bring a blend of legal knowledge, strong organizational skills, and a passion for client service. We're looking for a person who is hungry for experience, ambitious, and self-directed — someone who takes initiative, thrives under pressure, fiercely advocates for clients, and wants to grow with our Firm.
