Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney to join our Business Reorganization Team. The ideal candidate will be a first-chair level partner with a portable book of business and a proven track record handling complex Chapter 11 cases. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as lead counsel in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, representing debtors, committees, and fiduciaries.
  • Manage all aspects of case strategy, filings, negotiations, and court proceedings.
  • Provide counsel on business reorganizations, insolvency issues, and restructuring strategies.
  • Handle bankruptcy-related litigation, including motions, adversary proceedings, and plan confirmations.
  • Collaborate with team members across practice areas to ensure comprehensive client support.
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Membership in The Florida Bar or a strong commitment to obtaining admission.
  • Significant experience in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases representing debtors, committees, and fiduciaries.
  • Bankruptcy litigation experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with an existing book of business.
