What You'll Do: 

Do you have a passion for creating high-quality, from-scratch pastries? Are you an early bird who is productive early in the morning? As a pastry cook, you'll work hard to deliver delicious treats and delectable pastries to all our guests. You'll offer timely and effective customer service to ensure guests walk away satisfied. 

Here are some of the tasks you'll be responsible for daily: 

  • Scaling, mixing, and baking of cakes, cookies, laminated doughs, quick breads, Viennoiserie, fillings, etc. from scratch by correctly following recipes provided.
  • Filling, decorating, and finishing cakes and specialty pastries for retail presentation.
  • Contribute creatively to recipe development, following a consistent high standard of flavor and aesthetic set by the Pastry Chef.
  • Ensure that refrigerated foods and inventory are properly stored, rotated, and labeled according to food safety guidelines. 

Where You've Been: 

Having a degree from a culinary school is preferred but not required. What we're really looking for is someone with strong organizational skills and the desire and ability to learn. Being capable of thinking on their feet and being able to keep up in high-pressure situations is essential. If that sounds like you, go ahead and apply. 

When You're Here:

There will be occasions when you may be carrying/lifting to 50 pounds, walking, bending/twisting, climbing stairs, and working on slippery floors.
