The community you'll be caring for:
AdventHealth Ambulatory service

When you join our team of over 45 Outpatient Clinics across Central Florida, you will be part of a winning team of experts dedicated to whole-person care to help our patients heal, strengthen and renew. We serve patients Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Polk, Volusia, Flagler and Lake Counties with a dedicated Team of therapists, clinicians and staff willing to carry on AdventHealths mission in the communities we serve.

As a Supervisor, Rehab Business Office you will provide professional direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the outpatient rehabilitation settings. Utilizes process improvement in achieving the goals of the Sports Med and Rehab Department. Accept the responsibility to practice autonomously and collaboratively in all practice environments to provide best practice to the patient/client. Autonomous practice is characterized by independent, self-determined, professional judgment and action.

The Role You'll Contribute
The Business Office Supervisor oversees daily operations of patient registration and financial clearance, ensuring timely account creation, authorization, and upfront collections. This role supports team performance through coaching, training, and accountability, while promoting a positive work environment and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Supervisor collaborates with clinical partners, addresses patient concerns, and ensures high levels of patient satisfaction and employee engagement.

The Value You'll Bring To The Team

• Adjusts schedule to cover staffing gaps and may perform cashiering duties when required.
• Supervise Registration Representative staff and daily registration and patient flow functions, providing coaching and performance evaluations.
• Acts as the first point of contact for consumer inquiries or complaints, resolving issues and educating the team on registration or scheduling delays.
• Train and coach staff to minimize registration errors, rejections, and avoidable denials and to maximize upfront collections.

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed
:

• High School Grad or Equiv
• 2 healthcare, outpatient rehab, pre-access, patient access, hospital or business office, or physician practice office
