TEAM COLLINS dba MAACO is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of shop operations while upholding our Vision, Mission, and Core Values. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for sales, production, financial performance, employee development, and customer satisfaction.



What You'll Lead

As a General Manager, you are the heartbeat of the location—responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and team engagement.

You will:

• Lead daily operations across sales, production, customer service, and administration
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and best practices
• Drive performance using MAACO's proven playbook and KPI benchmarks
• Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Represent the brand with professionalism and integrity



Performance Expectations (KPIs That Matter)

You will actively manage performance to achieve:

• 15% minimum Return on Sales (ROS)
• Direct Labor: 21% (Paint Line, Body Shop & Reconditioning)
• Direct Materials: 12% (Paint & materials)
• Parts Sales Margin: 40% blended
• Sales Retention:
• • 65% overall estimate retention
• 45% spot estimate retention



Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Experience

• Greet customers and ensure a professional first impression
• Answer phones, generate appointments, and write accurate estimates
• Retain customers through strong selling techniques and follow-up
• Resolve customer concerns and make final customer care decisions
• Build and grow relationships with local trade accounts

Financial & Office Operations

• Handle daily cash, deposits, and POS reconciliation
• Review Daily Cash Receipts, Expense Reports, and Aged Receivables
• Monitor P&L (WSBR) weekly and take action on underperforming areas
• Track retention, sales evaluations, and adjust strategies as needed

Production & Parts Management

• Order, track, and return parts as needed
• Ensure vehicles move efficiently through production
• Communicate closely with the Production Manager to resolve issues
• Monitor equipment, supplies, and facility readiness

Leadership & People Management

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees
• Hold team members accountable through coaching and corrective action
• Address performance, attendance, behavior, and policy compliance
• Partner with HR and Regional leadership on employee matters
• Ensure all employees are trained and compliant with safety standards

Facility & Safety Oversight

• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional facility
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, and company safety compliance
• Address building maintenance and equipment concerns promptly

易 What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of management experience
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to analyze financials and drive performance improvements
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Hands-on, accountable leadership style with a customer-first mindset



Physical & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (up to 100 lbs with assistance)
• Standing, walking, bending, and physical activity throughout the day
• Exposure to paint fumes, dust, chemicals, varying temperatures, and noise


