Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runner to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to food safety, and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
  • Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and service stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
  • Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling.

Skills

  • Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Experience in banquet service or catering is desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not required. Job Type: Full-time
