Our meals are made from wholesome, high-quality ingredients and are designed for busy people who want convenience without compromising flavor or nutrition.

Job Summary

We are looking for kitchen support staff to be a part of our kitchen operations from preparation to pick-up. In this hands-on role, you will help with weekly preparation of ingredients, scaling recipes, and meal production while ensuring compliance with all food handling standards. You will be a key player in our operations delivering healthy meals to clients whole values nutrition and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Help review weekly meal orders and scale recipes for batch cooking
  • Support food preparation and cooking, following standardized healthy recipes
  • Portion, package, label, and organize meals for client pick-up
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
  • Ensure compliance with health department codes and safe food handling regulations

Qualifications

To join the ESN Healthy Kitchen team you must have the following qualifications:

  • Texas Department of State Health Services Food Handler certification
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with a small team
  • Able to lift 20lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods of time
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and passionate about healthy food
  • Texas Department of of State Health Services Certified Food Manager certification (preferred)
  • Culinary degree or formal culinary training (preferred)
  • Experience in a health-conscious, macro-based, or meal prep environment (preferred)

Schedule: 3 days/ week, Thursday-Saturday
