AutoCAD Draftsman – Pools, Fountains

We are seeking a detail-oriented Draftsman to support our design and engineering team in developing accurate construction drawings and CAD documentation for our aquatic projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, a good understanding of construction methods, and the ability to translate design concepts into clear, buildable plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for pools, spas, fountains, and water features
  • Update and maintain construction documents, as-builts, and redlines
  • Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure accuracy
  • Produce plans, sections, elevations, and details per project standards
  • Organize drawing sets and maintain file management consistency
  • Review markups and implement design revisions quickly and accurately
  • Support the team through permits, submittals, and shop drawing preparation

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD drafting (Revit a plus)
  • Experience with architectural, civil, or landscape drawings
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand the English language
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Certificate or degree in Drafting, Architecture, or Engineering preferred

Preferred Experience (Plus):

  • Experience with pool or fountain design and construction drawings
  • Familiarity with MEP coordination
  • Experience in a design-build or construction firm
  • Proficiency in SketchUp or Bluebeam

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Monday to Friday
  • Hybrid or on-site flexibility depending on experience

Compensation:

  • Based on experience (Competitive pay)

Pay: $ $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
