Transaction Processing Specialist

Our client is seeking a Transaction Processing Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and supports the daily operations of the processing department.
Responsibilities:
- Process and verify a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, checks, and electronic payments.
- Review and reconcile transaction data to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
- Research and respond to inquiries from internal departments and external partners.
- Assist with fraud detection efforts and support risk mitigation processes.
- Organize and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to colleagues and members.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1+ year experience in financial services, cash management, or a related processing role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction review.
- Proficient computer and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
