Transaction Processing Specialist

Our client is seeking a Transaction Processing Specialist responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient handling of financial transactions and supports the daily operations of the processing department.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify a variety of financial transactions, including deposits, checks, and electronic payments.
  • Review and reconcile transaction data to identify and resolve errors or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Research and respond to inquiries from internal departments and external partners.
  • Assist with fraud detection efforts and support risk mitigation processes.
  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining high accuracy.
  • Provide courteous and efficient service to colleagues and members.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year experience in financial services, cash management, or a related processing role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and transaction review.
  • Proficient computer and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
