JB's Sewer and Septic is a trusted, locally owned plumbing and septic service company based in Morris, NY. We specialize in sewer and septic line cleaning, hydro-jetting, video inspections, grease and septic pumping, and full system installations for residential, commercial, and municipal customers.

We're looking for a motivated and experienced Plumber / Service Technician to join our growing team.

Job Description:

As a Plumber / Service Technician, you'll work in the field responding to service calls for plumbing, sewer, and septic issues. You'll operate specialized equipment including inspection cameras and jetting systems, perform maintenance, and help install or repair septic and drainage systems. You'll represent JB's with professionalism and integrity on every job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to residential and commercial service calls
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, septic, and sewer systems
  • Operate hydro-jetting, camera inspection, and line cleaning equipment
  • Perform septic pumping and system maintenance
  • Assist with septic system installations and excavation
  • Provide outstanding customer service and communicate findings clearly
  • Keep accurate records of work performed
  • Adhere to safety standards and building/plumbing codes
  • Be available for occasional after-hours or weekend emergency calls

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of plumbing or septic service experience
  • Knowledge of sewer lines, drainage, and septic systems
  • Experience with jetting, snaking, and video inspection equipment a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
  • CDL is a plus, but not required
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional

Schedule:

  • Travel to surrounding areas required (company vehicle provided)

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
