We are a boutique style highly specialized gynecology office that specializes in minimally invasive surgery. Our team is professional, collaborative, and supportive, and we are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented front desk coordinator to join us.

Position Summary

As the Medical Front Desk Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. This position involves managing patient check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification, and communication with both patients and clinical staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out processes
  • Schedule appointments and manage phone calls
  • Verify insurance, collect patient information, and assist with prior authorizations as needed
  • Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, process refill requests, and relay messages to providers
  • Maintain accuracy in medical records
  • Support providers and staff with administrative tasks to ensure smooth office flow in a fast paced environment

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a medical front desk, medical receptionist, or patient services role required (women's health experience a plus)
  • Knowledge of insurance verification and scheduling systems
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capability of learning paper charts and EMR systems interchangeably
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be dependable and seeking long-term employment
