New Pathways Youth Services (NPYS) is dedicated to delivering community based services for individuals in the community facing mental health challenges. Our tailored programs aim to support youth with managing intense behaviors, both at home and in the community. Additionally, NPYS provides services for adults, focusing on promoting community stability. Our target case management approach involves assisting individuals of all ages in developing essential life skills, including budgeting, medication management, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IDLs). Through these community based services, our goal is to positively impact the community by teaching self-worth, emotional growth and empowerment.

At New Pathways, we are seeking Qualified Mental Health Professionals to empower our clients through strengths-based skill development training. Utilizing evidence-based curricula, you will build self-efficacy and resilience in children and adults to enable successful, independent living.

In this role, your responsibilities will be :

  • Maintain client documentation in the electronic record system, adhering to both Texas Administrative Code and NPYS standards.
  • Participate in staff meetings, monthly training, company programs, and required professional development.
  • Help preparation of individualized service dates and updates.
  • Provide behavioral interventions and solutions as needed for clients
  • Provide education and advocacy for parents and families.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of Bachelor's Degree
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must adhere to a background check upon hire

Experience:

  • Mental Health/Behavioral Health: 1 year (Recommended)

Hours per week:

  • 20-29
  • 30-39

Job Types: Part-Time, Full-Time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:

Due to COVID-19, QMHP's are allowed to complete telehealth sessions to decrease the spread of this illness.
