We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Senior IT Project Manager for our xFact team to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT Projects within public sector and government organizations. The ideal candidate should have expertise in software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies, and managing technical and business resources. The position involves outlining project plans and timelines, ensuring that the project is on track, identifying and mitigating risks, and updating project documentation. What you'll do:

  • Project planning and initiation including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables that align with business objectives
  • Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Lead projects from initiation through closure using agile, waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
  • Coordinate and plan resource allocation based on project needs
  • Monitor project performance and report on progress, risks, and issues
  • Conduct status meetings with team members, stakeholders, and leadership
  • Team coordination to facilitate tasks, communication, and collaboration amongst internal cross-functional team members
  • Identifying and tracking issues and risks on projects and providing mitigation and resolution plans

What we require:

  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Project Manager

  • Active Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from PMI
  • Skills:

  • Proficiency with industry-standard project management tools, methodologies, and software

  • Experience with client management and internal departmental communications
  • Proven track record of successful project management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to break down large complex tasks to smaller manageable tasks and allocate timelines and resources to those tasks
  • General understanding of software development methodologies, SDLC, and consulting best practices
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and deliver creative and efficient solutions

Additional proficiencies we seek:

  • Project management experience in government public sector domain
  • Technical background in public sector industry
  • Proficiency with MS Project or Visio
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong verbal and written communications and time management skills
