Opportunity Overview:

What you'll do as a Discontinuance Project Manager:

  • Analyze the impact of supplier discontinuances - prioritize action based on Last Time Buy (LTB) deadline and potential cost impact.
  • Collaborate and integrate with cross functional teams to identify appropriate Discontinuance solutions.
  • Commodity Engineering (CE) to find alternate part recommendations.
  • Sustaining Engineering to qualify replacements and approval for production use.
  • Commodity Management (CM) to ensure supply chain can be supported during qualification period.
  • Sales and Marketing to obtain supply run out and LTB requirements based on Long Term forecast (LTF).
  • Finance and Senior Management for LTB recommendation approvals.
  • Conduct quarterly Stress Test analysis based on latest Marketing LTF. Assess impact on previous LTBs. Highlight premature run outs to engineering and marketing. Garner consensus on resolution approach.
  • Prevent revenue shipment interruptions by monitoring all open Discontinuance cases and managing as required.Escalate high risk cases to senior managers with potential revenue impact.
  • Engage in standardization and continuous improvement projects for Discontinuance process.

  • BA/BS degree with Business / Operations focus. MBA a plus.
  • 2+ years of related experience within supply chain, inventory management, operations project management, or similar areas

  • Highly organized, self-motivated and proactive in prioritizing and escalating issues independently

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex analytical concepts to senior managers and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and summarize complex data

  • Thorough knowledge of MRP concepts

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Tableau

We are only considering candidates local to position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is $81,300 - $130,000. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.

Incentive Plan: This job is eligible for discretionary bonus(es) based on financial performance.
