Business Intermediary / Account Manager (Remote)
What This Role Really Is
This isn't a typical sales job. This is high-level deal making, client management, and problem solving, all rolled into one.
Think ¾ relationship management, ¼ sales, 100% client leadership.
You'll guide business owners through one of the biggest decisions of their lives and help buyers pursue real acquisition opportunities. You're the quarterback, the translator, the negotiator, and sometimes the therapist, all in the same day.
No cold calling. No scripts. No clock-in/clock-out mindset.
You'll be working with sharp business owners, serious buyers, attorneys, accountants, and multiple moving parts. All while managing a fast-moving pipeline.

What You'll Do
Client Relationship Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for sellers once they sign with us.
- Conduct structured Seller Discovery & Business Summary interviews.
- Build trust, manage expectations, and keep everyone aligned.
Transaction Coordination
- Collect financials, documents, and operational details from sellers.
- Work with Marketing to prepare buyer-facing materials.
- Manage buyer inquiries, qualify real buyers, and coordinate next steps.
- Keep deals organized in HubSpot with clean, accurate notes.
Deal Structuring & Negotiation Support
- Guide both sides through offers, counteroffers, and deal terms.
- Review LOIs, timelines, and closing documentation.
- Move deals forward without letting relationships unravel.
Real-Time Problem Solving
- Manage last-minute issues, personality conflicts, and deadline pressure.
- Keep buyers and sellers calm when tensions rise.
- Be the steady hand in the room, even when it's not easy.
What You Need
- Experience in sales, account management, finance, operations. Anything proving you can manage people, pressure, and complex conversations.
- Outstanding communication skills. You can say the right thing and the hard thing.
- Serious attention to detail . Sloppy documentation kills deals.
- Patience and grit. This role rewards long-term consistency.
- Thick skin. You will deal with strong personalities.
- Self-direction. You run your day.
- CRM experience. HubSpot is a major plus.
What to Expect in Your First 3–6 Months
We are intentionally upfront. This is a long sales cycle. Real business sales have many steps, multiple parties, and extended timelines.
Your first 3–6 months will be focused on:
- Learning the process
- Building a strong pipeline
- Developing relationships with sellers
- Getting businesses to market
- Working with active buyers
- Getting your deals positioned for closings
This role rewards the person who shows up consistently, follows the process, and builds momentum over time. If you do that, the long-term income is exceptional.

This is 100% commission. No salary, no cap. Your pipeline eventually becomes your income and the earning potential is exceptional for those who stay the course.
