Responsibilities
- Deliver prepared food and beverages swiftly from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service periods.
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support to ensure smooth dining experiences.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating or garnishing dishes under supervision.
- Maintain food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders or assist with guest transactions when required.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to coordinate timely service delivery.
- Support banquet or special event setups by preparing serving stations and assisting with event flow.
- Uphold hospitality standards by providing friendly, attentive guest service at all times.
- Assist in kitchen areas when necessary, supporting food handling and basic cooking tasks under supervision.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations ensures quality and safety for guests.
- Familiarity with serving techniques, bussing procedures, and restaurant operations enhances efficiency.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus for processing orders smoothly.
- Background in banquet service or hotel hospitality adds value to supporting diverse guest needs.
- Strong communication skills enable effective teamwork and guest interactions.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Kitchen experience or culinary background supports understanding of food preparation processes.
