Ready to be part of something special?Join our FamilyElectrical Design and Drawings Coordinator - CriscoCincinnati -B&G Foods – Crisco General Description B&G Foods, Engineering Department has an opportunity for the role of Electrical Design and Drawing Coordinator focusing on all areas of operation at the Crisco manufacturing plant. The selected individual will have responsibility for planning, scheduling, and implementing electrical and instrumentation controls projects across the plant. This will include (but not limited to) other core functions such as E&I trainer and qualifier, Electrical and Mechanical drawings coordinator, change control, and owner of the Arc Flash Safety Program. The selected candidate will report to the Sr. Controls Engineer. This role will primarily be on a 5-day (Monday through Friday) schedule, but schedule flexibility is necessary for training, qualifications, or project support. Successful candidates will have effective communication skills, project management, advanced electrical skills, NFPA 70E expertise, and troubleshooting skills.  This candidate will have consistently demonstrated leadership in their area of responsibility and a willingness to help in all areas of plant operations. Skills CriteriaThe ideal candidates will possess the following skills:Demonstrated strong troubleshooting abilityDemonstrated implementation of improvement opportunitiesDemonstrated advanced leadershipElectrical design including elementary and single-line drawingsDemonstrated expertise in both process and packing E&I technologyDemonstrated AutoCAD skills, one-line drawings, and elementary drawings.Demonstrated knowledge of safe electrical workMonitoring Warehouse E&I projects to ensure plant standards and documentation are metLead and Assist groups and projects during plant shutdownsPrerequisitesMust be willing to work a flexible schedule when neededStrong technical skills requiredResponsibilities (will include but limited to the following):Leadership for E&I Skilled TechniciansEffectively coach E&I's to continue to build skill levelProvide on the job training, coaching, and skill necessary to be successful in roleMeet with vendors and internal employeesAvailability to help with troubleshooting of plant related issues to not only resolve the issue but build the skill of other E&I'sIdentify areas of opportunity for improvementSupport capital project requests and in the submission of projectsEngineering DepartmentAttend change control as the E&I approverMember of the team evaluating options for the future of the plant control systemManage and facilitate the interface with Jetson for E&I drawing updates, Instrument Tag # assignments, Scheme number assignments.  Update electrical as builds in AutoCADUpdate/reconcile our plant electrical standards with new technologies in the plantCreating install drawings for various retrofits or upgrades. Update with as buildsIntroduce new technologies to the facility to upgrade to more modern technologyElectrical Safety Key ElementLead by example in all areas of SafetyEnsure all department personnel working with >50 volts are qualifiedEnsure the reliability, integrity and code compliance of the electrical power and control systemDistribute all the necessary electrical PPE – 6-month glove exchange, face shields, safety barriers, and balaclavaComplete recommendations from Power Studies and ensure panels have correct arc flash labelingArc Flash Study and all follow ups.Short Circuit Study and all follow ups.  Any time a project brings in a new piece of equipment it will go through change control.
