Position Summary
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as both a strategic advisor and hands-on partner to business leaders, supporting all aspects of people management. This role is critical in fostering an engaged workforce, developing talent, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The HRBP works closely with operations, production, and leadership teams to create a positive, inclusive culture while aligning HR initiatives with business goals. Fluency in both English and Spanish is required to effectively support our diverse workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with plant and department leaders to align HR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and guidance on conflict resolution, performance, and corrective action.
  • Foster a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and accountability aligned with our Leader Attributes.
  • Conduct employee investigations and recommend fair, consistent solutions.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to build and sustain strong teams.
  • Develop employees through coaching, training, and career development planning.
  • Facilitate leadership and employee engagement programs tailored to plant and office teams.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including California and Wisconsin standards.
  • Partner with EHS to reinforce safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams for accurate, timely employee data management.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, absenteeism, engagement) to drive proactive solutions.
  • Translate HR policies, training, and communications into Spanish as needed; conduct bilingual meetings and orientations.

Qualifications
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; HR certification (PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual – Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written).
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried workforces in manufacturing or production.
  • Proven ability to build trust, influence leaders, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
