We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of various massage techniques and a strong commitment to patient care. This role involves assessing patient needs, providing therapeutic massage treatments, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of clients in a serene environment. In addition to salary you are provided commission for upgrades and 100% of your tips

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and treatment goals.
  • Provide a range of massage therapies including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
  • Utilize knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology to enhance treatment effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient progress while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere for clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support occupational health initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in massage therapy and wellness.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Massage Therapist with expertise in patient service and assessment.
  • Familiarity with deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies is essential.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology is required; experience in a medical spa setting is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
