As a Security Officer Front Desk Patrol Tech in Franklin, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading technology-focused location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and exceptional customer service. You will monitor access, verify credentials, and communicate clearly with all guests. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide information as needed.
• Support emergency response activities as appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal team members and local authorities when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
