The Opportunity:

Four Seasons, Washington D.C. is currently looking for a creative and dynamic Director of Catering . Reporting to the Commercial Director, this individual is responsible for leading the Group Event Services Department while personally prospecting, selling, planning and servicing corporate and social business while maintaining Four Seasons standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential.

Qualifications:

  • College degree preferably specializing in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience is required
  • 3 to 5 years' experience as a Sales or Group Services Manager in a full service resort or hotel, of which 2 years was specifically selling and servicing the
  • Corporate and Social markets and handling weddings.
  • Proven interpersonal skills with a track record of successful client interactions.
  • Coaching and People Development Skills
  • Able to negotiate, organize, delegate & work with deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask. High level of creativity.
  • Ability to irregular hours, weekends, and evenings.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual equipment and internet technology – preferred.
  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.

Compensation:

$140,000 - $150,000 Annually
