Overview

We are seeking two dedicated and passionate Youth Sports Soccer Coaches to join our afterschool team Days available M-F Now- June 26. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Leading Soccer as well as other sports warm ups, drills, games and activities afterschool while fostering the physical and personal development of students. This role involves coaching young athletes of different skill levels, promoting teamwork, and instilling a love for sports while ensuring a safe and supportive environment.

Duties

  • Develop and implement training programs tailored to the specific needs of student athletes in Soccer and mixed games.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
  • Monitor and assess athletes' performance, providing constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
  • Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and respect among all participants.
  • Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines with lots of activities
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff regarding athlete progress and program updates.
  • Organize supplies

Skills

  • Proficiency in one or more sports such as soccer and mixed games
  • Previous experience working with students in a coaching or mentoring capacity is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of sports coaching principles and techniques.
  • Ability to create engaging training sessions that motivate athletes.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey instructions and feedback.
  • A minimum of 2 years coaching/ teaching students sports sessions
  • A passion for promoting physical fitness and well-being among youth.
