The Enterprise Solutions Development Division (ESDD) is seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager II to serve as the Assistant Division Chief and Chief of the Investments Support Section. The incumbent will be responsible for leading the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and managing a state-of-the-art INVO technology ecosystem. This ecosystem includes SaaS-based investment platforms, integration platforms, and capabilities, as well as data processing pipelines that feed into a centralized data platform. It also encompasses INVO-specific applications developed to address the unique needs of the organization.

The Investments Support Section plans, manages, and executes high-impact projects while delivering and maintaining mission-critical investment applications. The team ensures seamless integration across SaaS platforms, interaction platforms, and the data platform, while providing strategic and operational support. All technology initiatives are aligned with the Investment Office Strategic Plan.

This role involves direct management and accountability for state team(s), consultants, and vendor partners, including oversight of their strategic direction and deliverables. Serving in this pivotal position provides a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to CalPERS' ongoing success.
