Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dynamic Restaurant Manager for Wagyu Grill to lead our vibrant dining establishment. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while managing all aspects of restaurant management with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure optimal performance and development.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow.
  • Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and safety in accordance with health regulations and company policies.
  • Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and reducing waste to maximize profitability.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally, fostering a welcoming environment.
  • Implement food safety protocols, including proper food handling practices and sanitation standards across the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to oversee food production, culinary quality, and timely delivery of orders.
  • Manage budgeting responsibilities by controlling costs related to labor, supplies, and food expenses while achieving financial targets.
  • Conduct staff training sessions on food preparation techniques, customer service excellence, health & safety standards, and POS operation.
  • Supervise catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to expand revenue streams.
  • Promote a positive team culture through effective communication, motivation, and leadership during all shifts.
  • Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a skilled team aligned with our service standards.

Experience

  • Proven management experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant environment is essential; casual dining or fine dining experience is highly valued.
  • Demonstrated expertise in food industry operations including food handling, kitchen management, and food production processes.
  • Strong background in supervising staff within hospitality or restaurant settings with a focus on training & development.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing and reporting.
  • Experience managing inventory control systems along with budgeting responsibilities to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant.
  • Previous experience in catering or banquet services is a plus; hotel or hospitality management background is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and handle customer concerns professionally.
  • Ability to interview candidates confidently while assessing skills relevant to restaurant management roles.
