Route Sales Representative
who thrives on building relationships with local businesses and driving placement growth for our vending and arcade units.

In this role, you'll be the face of our company—meeting local business owners, pitching placement opportunities, and helping new partners understand how our machines can generate passive income for their locations. You'll also support light servicing, placement coordination, and follow-ups to ensure long-term success.

Success in this Position Looks Like:

  • Securing multiple new machine placements each month in high-traffic, family-friendly locations
  • Building a strong local network of restaurant and retail owners who love working with us
  • Helping Java Island Arcade continue its mission of creating fun, self-serve entertainment spaces across California

Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact local business owners, property managers, and retail partners for new vending and claw machine placement opportunities
  • Conduct on-site visits to showcase machine photos, discuss revenue-sharing models, and close placement agreements
  • Coordinate installations and ensure machines are placed professionally and securely
  • Follow up with partners regularly to maintain relationships and ensure satisfaction
  • Track leads, conversations, and conversions using our CRM system
  • Collaborate with our operations team to optimize machine performance and partner success

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to confidently speak with business owners
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Sales or route experience in vending, retail, or local business development (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation for local travel between locations
  • Basic familiarity with digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for small business growth
