About the Role

H&D Physical Therapy is seeking a compassionate, experienced Physical Therapist to join our Park Slope team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for a clinician who values one-on-one, high-quality care and is looking for a flexible schedule that includes Fridays, Saturdays, and select evening coverage.

You'll work with a diverse mix of orthopedic and neurological patients—from active teens and young professionals to older adults—using a comprehensive, root-cause approach that focuses on understanding and resolving the underlying causes of pain and dysfunction.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain, and movement dysfunction.
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy and evidence-based rehabilitation in a 45 minute one-on-one model.
  • Take a whole-body approach—analyzing movement, posture, and lifestyle factors to uncover root causes.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and long-term wellness.
  • Educate and empower patients to actively participate in their recovery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure integrated, whole-person care.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in our EMR system.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Physical Therapist in New York (Direct Access eligible—minimum 3 years of clinical experience required)
  • Experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation
  • Passion for manual therapy and functional, movement-based care
  • Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
  • Commitment to understanding the "why" behind each condition—not just treating symptoms
