The Team:
The Strategic Alliance Partnerships team is a collaborative and innovative group within the Chief Revenue Office at S&P Global. We value excellence in relationship management and are dedicated to driving strategic relationships with our most critical information provider partners. Responsibilities and Impact:
- Manage a team of account managers to drive relationships with our largest information provider accounts, impacting indirect client revenue and outcomes across hundreds of end customers.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities and optimize partner engagement strategies, enhancing overall business growth.
- Achieve revenue retention and new business KPIs for partner accounts and indirect customer relationships, showcasing your strategic impact.
- Develop deep knowledge of S&P Global products and partner ecosystems to drive complex partner integrations and identify new business opportunities.
- Lead high-impact deals and represent S&P Global in business development and partnership negotiations, gaining exposure to policy makers and market leaders.
- Drive value for end customers by expanding access points across partner platforms, contributing to the global nature of the role.
Compensation/Benefits Information:
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124,200 to $194,755. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for a sales commission plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in managing strategic partnerships and complex deal structures, particularly in the financial services, fintech, or data industries.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with partners at senior and executive levels.
- Strong commercial and legal acumen, with expertise in partnership deal structuring and execution.
Key Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, drafting, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to managing complex third-party relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and engage with senior stakeholders.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data and intellectual property licensing frameworks and arrangements.
- Experience working in team environments to drive towards common goals.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business environments and priorities.
- Familiarity with global market trends and their impact on strategic partnerships.
