They provide thoughtful leadership and communication to project and client team members in order to build the foundation as a trusted partner. They serve as the trusted advisor to customers in their portfolio while leading project teams from pre-sales through the entire implementation. This is a highly visible position where your deep technical skills will directly influence our product strategy, business growth, and market presence. You will remain a hands-on contributor, tackling our most challenging technical problems while also serving as a key resource for our business development, sales, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

Hands-On Technical Leadership: You will be responsible for designing and implementing core components of our technical platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

Design, build, and optimize end-to-end solutions on the Tableau platform to create a single customer view, enhance personalization, and drive business outcomes

Responsible for business requirements gathering, architecture design, data ingestion and modeling, identity resolution setup, calculated insight configuration, segment creation and activation, end-user training, and support procedures

Ability to direct technical teams, both internal and client-side

Collaborate with development teams to design and build data models, data flows, and reporting solutions within Salesforce.

Enablement of internal resources around Tableau (Server and Cloud) best practices, Server to Cloud migration scoping and implementation, data governance, end user training, and scalable solution design.

Pre-Sales and Business Development Support: Serve as the go-to technical expert for our sales and business development teams. You will articulate our platform's value proposition to potential clients, create compelling technical demonstrations, and help scope complex deals.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architectures, processes, and solutions.

Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure that solutions meet business needs.

Develop reusable demo materials across the Tableau product suite to be presented as part of presales efforts. Demo assets are likely to leverage, but not limited to, Snowflake, Salesforce Data Cloud, Tableau Next, and other core Salesforce product offerings.

Marketplace Point-of-View (POV): You will be responsible for defining and documenting the technical POV for our marketplace offerings.

Analyzing market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs to inform our product roadmap and messaging in partnership with Go-To-Market team

Provide subject matter expertise as warranted via customer needs and business demands.

Deep understanding of factors that drive customer success for Salesforce implementations and how they directly contribute to long-term customer retention

Mentor and guide our technical teams, helping them to grow their skills and tackle technical challenges effectively. You will lead by example, promoting best practices and a culture of technical excellence.

Collaborate with specialists across disciplines to innovate and build premier solutions

Thought Leadership: You'll author technical papers, blog posts, and white papers that showcase our platform's capabilities and establish us as a thought leader in the space.

Participate in compiling industry research, thought leadership and proposal materials for business development activities

Required Skills, Education and Experience

7+ years of experience in solutions architecture/technical consulting for cloud data platforms with multiple workstreams

Passionate about Data Modernization Methods and Practices

Extensive experience with Tableau Server migration

Experience with Tableau Cloud optimization and data governance

Salesforce data products (Data Cloud, Mulesoft, CRM Analytics) experience preferred but not required

Experience embedding Tableau solutions in public facing websites preferred but not required

Strong verbal and presentation abilities, capable of effectively communicating ideas to clients and prospective clients at all levels of an organization

Understanding & ability to articulate the relationship between Data and Customer Relationship Management, aka the Customer360

Demonstrable ability to shift clients to alternative solutions when initial solutions are not a fit, with examples to support this. Demonstrable experience leading strategy and digital roadmap projects in a complex business environment

Strong proficiency in presenting complex business and technical concepts using visualization aids

Proven experience delivering large, complex projects in a professional services/ consulting environment

Ability to conceptualize and craft sophisticated wireframes, workflows, and diagrams

Strong understanding of data management concepts, including data quality, data distribution, data modeling and data governance

Proficiency in Salesforce tools and technologies, including Salesforce Data Cloud, ETL tools, and data integration platforms

Detailed understanding of the fundamentals of digital marketing and complementary Salesforce products that organizations may use to run their business. '

Experience defining strategy, developing requirements, and implementing practical business solutions.

Passionate about helping others grow and have experience mentoring

Must have full-time permanent US work authorization

Additional Requirements

Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience

Hands on Experience

on Salesforce CRM technology like Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or any Industry Clouds

in AI/ML solutions like Einstein, Sagemaker, and Vertex. Solid Understanding of Generative AI

designing data solutions on cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform

with analytics tools like Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, etc

Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)

Additional Salesforce certifications like Administrator are a plus
