The Technical Lead Manager will be responsible for the technical evolution of one or more areas of our architecture, contributing to the codebase and formulating a strategy on how to scale their team. What You'll be Doing Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Software Engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Collaborate with architects and senior Engineers to design scalable and efficient software architectures that meet business requirements. Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, ensure adherence to coding standards, and identify opportunities for improvement. Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation. Collaborate with Project Managers to define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure timely and successful project execution. Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive product development. What We're Looking For You have at least 4-6 years of experience as an engineer and 1-2 years of experience managing an engineering team. You're equally comfortable jumping into a codebase and sending some changesets and then into a career chat with a direct report. You have a proven track record of driving complex projects with many stakeholders to completion. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. You have a proven track record of growing engineering teams through great hires, fostering the creation of a harmonious culture, and finding the right intersection between expediency and best practice. You’re a great mentor, and enjoy helping other engineers grow and realize their full potential. Base Salary The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000 - $260,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting is based on Noom’s estimate as of the date of publication and reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position across all US locations. The actual placement of the candidate within the range is based on factors including but not limited to relevant experience, assessment of functional skills and behavioral competencies, scope, and location. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package. Other Elements of the Rewards Package Noom currently offers a comprehensive and generous total rewards package.
