Job Description: The Flōte Wellness Center Manager oversees daily operations, staff performance, and client experience at Flōte—a premier float, massage, and wellness destination. This role ensures smooth scheduling, maintains high service standards, manages membership growth, and fosters a supportive, wellness-driven culture. The Manager acts as the bridge between ownership, staff, and clients, driving both operational excellence and community engagement.

Reports to: Owner / Director of Operations

Critical Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth check-in/out and treatment flow
  • Supervise and schedule staff (float guides, massage therapists, reception team)
  • Ensure outstanding customer service and resolution of guest concerns
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and atmosphere of all treatment and lounge spaces
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Manage payroll approvals and timesheets
  • Track and report KPIs including membership growth, utilization, and retention
  • Support marketing initiatives, events, and corporate wellness outreach
  • Enforce brand standards for presentation, tone, and guest communication
  • Create a positive team culture through consistent communication and accountability

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in spa, wellness, or hospitality management
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with scheduling and POS systems (e.g., Zenoti, MindBody, or similar)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Commitment to health, wellness, and exceptional guest care

Desired

  • Experience in membership-based business models
  • Background in marketing, sales, or community engagement
  • Understanding of floatation therapy or wellness industry trends
  • CPR and first aid certification
  • Passion for creating meaningful guest experiences in holistic environments
