Para Pro III; Pathways - Emotional Disabilities Classroom

  • The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands. The employee may be required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The employee may be required to use the District approved physical restraint techniques when student restraint is required.

10 month position - 7 hours/ day

$2,000.00 stipend for Specialized learning program

Includes $500.00 hiring bonus paid after working 3 months.

Para Pro requirements: In order to be eligible for a position as a Para Pro in P.U.S.D. prospective employee must meet ONE of the following:

  • High School diploma or GED AND An Associate's degree or higher OR
  • Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education OR
  • Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved **Para Pro assessments.

All Full time (6 or more hours per day) PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary or hourly pay.
