Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Custom Inset Cabinetry Maker to join our cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, and precise craftsmanship. This role involves creating high-quality inset cabinets tailored to client specifications, ensuring durability and aesthetic appeal and working with difference materials - HDF, paint grade wood, quarter sawn oak, rift white oak, walnut, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret 3D renderings, schematics, and detailed drawings to accurately fabricate inset cabinetry components.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble cabinet parts.
  • Measure and mark materials precisely for accurate cuts and assembly.
  • Perform heavy lifting of materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
  • Assemble cabinetry with attention to detail, ensuring proper fit and finish.
  • Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to meet design specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team members on project timelines and production goals.
  • Assist with installation of cabinets on-site, including fixture installation and door hanging when required. *Installation not required for this position, but can be.

Skills

  • Extensive experience in woodworking, cabinetry fabrication, or related construction trades.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment.
  • Knowledge of construction estimating, framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and remodeling is a plus.
  • Experience with construction site safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with restoration processes such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in cabinet installation and finishing touches like caulking and fixture installation.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and understanding complex project requirements. This position requires a dedicated professional with hands-on experience in custom cabinetry or related construction fields who takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship tailored to client needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
