As a Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Support in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations within the healthcare location in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.Collaborate with healthcare staff and visitors to provide assistance and information as needed.Support the enforcement of facility rules and regulations to help to maintain order within the location.Minimum Requirements:
Access control or badge experience is preferred.A guard card or license is preferred.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Closing
