As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol CRE in Santa Ana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence and regular patrols will support a positive experience for tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location, including both indoor areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and other personnel, providing assistance and information as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and any unusual activities according to Allied Universal protocol.
• Collaborate with local authorities and property management teams during emergencies or other significant events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
