Salt Lake KIA, part of the Jerry Seiner Dealership Group, is seeking an experienced and driven General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our sales team and drive the continued growth of our KIA dealership. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a respected automotive group with a strong culture, loyal customer base, and commitment to developing leaders.

We're looking for someone who can elevate performance, strengthen processes, and build a high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction and results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead, recruit, train, and motivate a top-performing sales team.
  • Set and achieve sales, gross profit, and CSI goals for the dealership.
  • Maintain KIA market share, KSI scores, and profit averages at or above regional and manufacturer benchmarks.
  • Oversee daily sales operations, including desking and closing deals.
  • Ensure consistent execution of dealership processes, including the Seiner "Steps to the Sale."
  • Conduct monthly forecasting, performance reviews, and save-a-deal meetings.
  • Manage new-vehicle inventory within days-supply guidelines and support used-vehicle inventory performance.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager and marketing to implement effective advertising and lead-generation strategies.
  • Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal sales and finance regulations.
What You'll Bring
  • Minimum 2 year of automotive sales management experience.
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of growing successful teams.
  • Solid understanding of dealership sales operations, inventory management, and F&I processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Professional appearance and commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Valid in-state driver's license and insurability under dealership policy.
