Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Financial Planning Associate / Analyst to join our team and work closely with our Operations Director and advisory staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, digging into details, and supporting the financial planning and operational backbone of a high-performing advisory practice.

You will play a key role in preparing and maintaining client financial plans, supporting the firm's accounting and reporting functions, and ensuring accurate, efficient execution of financial workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans using planning software
  • Gather, organize, and analyze client data (income, expenses, investments, insurance, estate documents).
  • Support advisors in plan analysis, scenario modeling, and presentation preparation.
  • Assist with internal accounting-related projects such as budgeting, tracking firm financial metrics, and coordinating with the CPA/bookkeeper.
  • Maintain accuracy in custodial data (e.g., Schwab) and performance reporting systems.
  • Help streamline financial workflows, documentation, and compliance processes in coordination with the Operations Director.
  • Perform investment and cash flow analysis to support advisors' recommendations.
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvement within operations and planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in financial planning, accounting, or analytical role (RIA or wealth management experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with financial planning software, CRM systems, and Excel (advanced proficiency preferred).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills.

Base Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
