We're seeking a dependable Forklift Operator to join our production team in Tennessee. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in keeping materials organized and production running smoothly.

Position Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you'll be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials safely and efficiently throughout our facility. You'll work closely with warehouse and production teams to ensure aluminum materials are delivered to the right place at the right time—keeping our manufacturing operations running at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely unload materials and merchandise from incoming trucks and stack them in assigned storage areas.

  • Locate, move, and organize stock of products, pallets, or crates for shipment or production use.

  • Transport raw materials to production workstations using a forklift or other industrial vehicles.
  • Inspect forklift and related machinery daily; report issues or perform basic maintenance checks.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and activity logs.
  • Identify and report any damages, shortages, or quality concerns.
  • Follow company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and all legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred, not required)

  • Valid forklift certification and proven forklift operation experience

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
  • Excellent coordination, physical condition, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, and stooping
  • Team-oriented attitude with willingness to work overtime as needed
