Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operators to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to move, locate, and transfer materials within our warehouse environment. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts, including reach truck, electronic pallet jack, dock stocker, and order pickers to transport materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Utilize a warehouse management system to track inventory levels and manage stock locations.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks with precision.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Assist in materials handling and heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently using pallet jacks and other equipment.
  • Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift operation is essential.
  • Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team setting.
  • Must pass BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG TEST
