Fresh Fix Handyman is a fast-growing handyman and property maintenance company serving the Chattanooga area. We're looking for a part-time office assistant to help with organization, communication, and scheduling as we continue to expand.

This role is ideal for someone who's organized, dependable, and enjoys keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes. You'll be working directly with the owner to help manage scheduling, invoices, job updates, and client communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Update and organize jobs in Jobber (our scheduling/invoicing software)
  • Send and track invoices and follow up on payments
  • Organize job photos, receipts, and materials lists
  • Coordinate job schedules between technicians and tenants
  • Send quick email/text updates to property managers about job progress
  • Prepare weekly reports of open and completed work orders
  • Assist with marketing tasks during slow periods (email outreach, reviews, photos, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using computers (Google Sheets, Gmail, Jobber, etc.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Reliable and consistent — shows up and follows through
  • Experience with office work or customer service preferred

Position Details:

  • 10–20 hours per week to start
  • Flexible schedule (some remote work possible after training)
  • $20–$22/hour depending on experience
  • 1099 trial period with potential to transition to W-2 employment for the right fit
