Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, making it essential for creating a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow.
  • Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
  • Assist in managing wait times and communicate effectively with guests regarding their status.
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Address guest concerns promptly and courteously, enhancing guest relations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Host/Host or in a similar food service role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations, including knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
