This position provides specialized support in areas designated by departmental leadership. The supervisor will coordinate and facilitate the onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training of new pharmacy technicians, ensuring consistency and high standards across practice areas. They will provide direct oversight for the Pediatric Pharmacy technician team, supporting their development, mentoring, and day-to-day workflow. Key responsibilities include managing scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processes, supporting technician performance evaluations, and ensuring adherence to all sterile compounding best practices and regulatory standards. The supervisor will collaborate closely with pharmacists, peers, and operational leadership to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant medication preparation and distribution processes across designated areas.  This role requires a proactive leader with excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. College degree preferred.  CPhT certification and Maryland Board of Pharmacy registration. Certification in aseptic sterile compounding (USP ) and hazardous drug handling required within 90 days of hire. 5 years relevant pharmacy technician experience or an associate degree with 1 year of relevant supervisory experience and 1 year of relevant pharmacy technician experience are required.
