Senior Account Manager Product Certification

NSF is a global leader in public health and safety, offering accredited testing, auditing, and certification services, along with expert consulting and training. We are seeking a Senior Account Manager for our Green Chemistry division to serve as the primary contact for key clients, delivering exceptional service and managing complex product certification projects. This role involves accurately scoping and quoting initiatives, overseeing project execution, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely outcomes. Ideal candidates will bring strong communication skills, a customer-first mindset, and a commitment to excellence in client relationship management.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow client accounts of moderate to high complexity, including key clients
- Manage product review requests and oversee maintenance and updates for existing Green Chemistry Clients
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the U.S. EPA to support strategic initiatives and ensure ongoing partnership success
- Provide education to clients regarding Safer Choice standard and the application process
- Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements
- Provide guidance and training to internal team members on safer Choice and CleanGredients
- Develop presentations and educational materials to support client engagement
- Meet turnaround times, revenue targets, and project management metrics as assigned
- Engage with external stakeholders, including suppliers, regulatory bodies, and sustainability partners
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory updates, and sustainability best practices
- Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and client meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of relevant account management or customer service experience
- Ability to work independently while being team oriented
- Self-starter with excellent time management and organization skills, with strong attention to detail
- Relevant experience and knowledge in Product Certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with U.S. EPA's Safer Choice program or other eco-labels is a plus
- Experience in customer service and managing high-profile clients or key accounts is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
