Description
Culver Franchising System, LLC is looking for a Restaurant Technology Specialist to provide technical configuration, testing, implementation, and support of all restaurant technology initiatives including point of sale systems, peripherals, hardware, and software; restaurant network, back office software, and ancillary tools. The successful candidate will assist in all phases of technical operations in support of Franchisees and Support Center team members in their mission to build restaurant sales and profits, while adding value to the Culver's brand.

Essential Functions
Technology Implementation and Support:

  • Provide support relating to all restaurant and Support Center technology platforms to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences (including online ordering services, legacy systems, workforce, inventory, cash management, printing solutions, and audio visual solutions)
  • Configure, test, install, and support software encompassing technology platforms in use at Culver's restaurants and Support Center
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides
  • Leverage new features and functionality to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction
  • Support, track, and resolve basic to moderately complex technical incidents and service requests, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  • Support and maintain infrastructure and endpoint systems for support teams and restaurant use

Project And Technical Coordination

  • Serve as a key contributor or project lead on cross-functional initiatives involving restaurant technology, which includes planning, coordinating, and executing project tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Provide guidance to team members and cross-functional partners, sharing technical expertise and promoting knowledge transfer to build team capacity
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge, and apply best practices with technological advancements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-6 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience configuring and testing software applications
  • Proficient verbal communication and writing skills
  • Ability to concentrate on a wide range of loosely defined basic to moderately complex situations, which may require application of creativity and originality, with limited guidance
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments in a timely manner
  • Experience in the retail or food service industries is preferred
  • Experience leading and mentoring individuals and groups is a plus

Starting Pay Range: Starting at $75,000 and up, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Classification: Exempt/Salary, full-time position.
