Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced A&P Helicopter Mechanic to lead our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in technical operations, particularly in the aerospace or manufacturing sectors. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of crew members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while maintaining a safe working environment.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices related to fabrication, assembly, and quality control.
- Utilize tools such as ammeters, CAD software, and coordinate measuring machines to support production tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical drawings for effective execution of projects.
- Oversee the fabrication of components using sheet metal and electrical systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement AS9100 quality management standards within operations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the aerospace or manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with avionics systems and airframe components is highly desirable.
- Proficient in using CAD software for design and layout purposes.
- Experience with electrical systems and ability to read schematics effectively.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $135,000.00 per year
