We are a successful and growing industrial coatings manufacturer located in Santa Fe Springs, California. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment, including mixers, reactors, large industrial tanks, and supporting plant systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mixers, reactors, tanks, pumps, motors, conveyors, and other manufacturing equipment.
  • Inspect equipment regularly to identify wear, failures, and potential issues before downtime occurs.
  • Fabricate, weld, and install new parts and structural components as needed.
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance logs, repair records, and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure plant equipment and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards, including lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background working with mixers, reactors, tanks, or similar large-scale industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, or stick) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Familiar with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS software (preferred).
  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and practices.
