Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide professional massage services aimed at promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our clients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values patient care, professional growth, and excellence in service delivery. Candidates should possess a strong understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to tailor treatments effectively. Prior spa experience is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic setting. COMMISSION BASED SALARY.

Duties

  • Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client needs.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
  • Provide exceptional patient service by creating a welcoming environment and ensuring client comfort throughout sessions.
  • Educate clients on post-treatment care and recommend ongoing wellness strategies for pain management and relaxation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of treatments provided, including notes on patient assessments and progress.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas in compliance with health regulations.
  • Stay informed about occupational health practices and current trends in massage therapy to enhance service quality.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
  • Expertise in various massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
  • Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively.
  • Ability to manage pain through tailored massage treatments focused on pain management strategies.
  • Knowledge of occupational health standards to ensure safe practice environments.
  • Customer service orientation with a compassionate approach towards clients' well-being.
